Thanks for coming and actually reading the rules...very wise of you. I'll try to make these quick and painless 
Rules of Posting
No spamming and please keep your swearing to a minimum.
Posts must be at least one paragraph. I know it can be hard...just grit your teeth and post! ^^
Please try to be descriptive and interesting!
No god-moding, power play or anything of the like.
Rules of Breeding
You can breed all year round here in ODL. Males may force-breed, females may not. Please do not be overly graphic with your breeding. We know how it works.
When a female has some kittens, please post in the Kitten Quarry board and a mod or admin will come and decide on the stats. You can not always be lucky.
Males and females must be over 3 to breed.
When a kitten(s) are born, they must be in the same tribe that their mother was in. No buts.
Rules of Aging
Each REAL LIFE month, your cat(s) age one year. You die around 17, so post in the Cat Land board and you can then either adopt a new character from the Adoption board, make a new character (on the same account) or you can play a kitten that has either been born to you or someone is offering you to play their kitten.
Account Rules
Your signatures can be no bigger than 530x325. I don't want it distorting the page. You can also have a link to the picture, if it is bigger. One account only please, p.m. (private message) me if you need another one, I may be able to arrange something. You may only have 2 cats on your account (this does not include kittens you must take care of). You are not allowed to claim your own female, otherwise it is not fair. You don't need to call your account after your characters, but if you want to, that's fine. Because they die, I would suggest you just call your account a name that you would like.
The password to the joining board is fuzzball
Tribes
There are 3 different tribes of stray/feral cats here in ODL. They are Fostclad, Kaoltirst and Admonae.
Claiming Retreats and Females
Your male may only claim one 'retreat' (house or territory). Your male can claim up to 3 females to live in the retreat with him and he may have kittens with all of them.
Fostclad males may only claim Fostclad females. Kaoltirst males may only claim Kaoltirst females. Admonae males may only claim Admonae females.
Battles
Please battle in the Cat Fight board. Only seven attacks per cat, not seven posts. Do not god-mode. For example: 'Sustaan pinned her opponent to the ground, cutting off h her movement completely.' See? If any admins or mods find you doing that, you will instantly lose the fight and have a warning message sent to you. After 5 warnings you are banned.
Females may fight females only. Males may only fight other males (for females, retreats etc). When you are finished the battle, an admin or mod will decide and post on your fate. If you are ok to be killed, please post that as well.
Tribe Valleys
Each tribe has their own valley with different places in it. If your cat is in a certain tribe, you will get the password for that valley. Whatever tribe your cat is in, you will get a password to enter that valley. Only those in the tribe are allowed in the tribe valley. You may not share this password with anybody.
Well, peeps, that is all I can currently think of. I may add more rules later!
